US tax preparation and filing support
Tax support for people and the businesses they build.
Bring your personal and business filing questions into one organised process. We review the tax year, your circumstances and the records available, then agree the returns, schedules and support included before preparation starts.
Individual Taxation starts from $250 USD. Business Taxation starts from $350 USD. These are starting preparation fees, not the tax you owe or a fixed price for every situation. You receive a written quote after we review the scope.
Individual Taxation — from $250
Personal filing support begins with identifying the appropriate return and the income that must be considered. Employment, self-employment, investments, rental activity and overseas connections can change the records and schedules needed. We explain the proposed engagement rather than assuming every return is the same.
- Review of filing status, tax residency and the relevant tax year.
- Preparation support for the agreed individual federal return and listed schedules.
- Review of supplied income statements and potentially relevant deductions and credits.
- Estimated-payment and withholding review when included in your scope.
- Draft review, filing-authorisation coordination and final copies.
Resident and nonresident filing
We review whether Form 1040 or Form 1040-NR is appropriate. Your citizenship, time in the United States, immigration circumstances and applicable tax rules can affect the analysis. A nonresident return is not simply a resident return with a foreign address. Tell us about arrival and departure dates, treaty claims, foreign income and any prior filing position so the correct treatment can be assessed.
Self-employed individuals and sole proprietors
A sole proprietor commonly reports business activity on Schedule C attached to an individual return. Self-employment tax and estimated payments may also need consideration. Provide records of gross receipts, platform or payment-processor statements, expenses and business assets. We reconcile the information within the agreed scope; bookkeeping clean-up is quoted separately.
Business Taxation — from $350
A company’s state-law registration does not by itself determine its federal tax return. We review ownership, elections, activity and accounting records to identify the business filing requirements and the work needed.
- Entity classification and agreed federal filing-scope review.
- Preparation of the specified business return or information-return package.
- Review of supplied financial statements, ownership details and prior returns.
- Owner and related-party transaction review where relevant.
- Extension coordination, authorisation and submission records when agreed.
LLCs, partnerships and corporations
An LLC can have different federal tax classifications depending on ownership and elections. Partnership, corporate and S corporation returns may involve Form 1065, Form 1120 or Form 1120-S respectively, where applicable. A disregarded single-member LLC may report activity through its owner rather than file a separate federal income tax return. We assess the actual structure before quoting forms or assuming a return is unnecessary.
Foreign-owned companies and Form 5472
Form 5472 and pro forma Form 1120 support remains available within Business Taxation. Certain foreign-owned US disregarded entities must report relevant related-party transactions. Contributions, distributions and formation-related transfers can matter, so zero sales alone does not settle the filing question. We request records of owner funding, withdrawals, loans and other relevant transactions before preparing the agreed package.
This information reporting does not automatically replace an owner’s personal return or another business or state filing. Incomplete or late reporting can have significant consequences; share notices and missed periods promptly so they can be reviewed separately.
What to prepare
Prior returns, tax-year income statements such as W-2, 1099 or 1042-S where applicable, estimated payments, residence/travel details, dependent information and records supporting claimed expenses or benefits. Rental, investment and self-employment activity need their own supporting records.
Formation documents, EIN confirmation, ownership and election records, prior filings, profit-and-loss and balance-sheet reports, bank/payment-processor summaries, asset information, payroll records where relevant and details of owner/related-party transfers.
Send only general background with your initial request. Provide requested sensitive records through the private client area. Do not send Social Security numbers, ITINs, identity documents, passwords or card details through email or WhatsApp.
Our preparation process
- Choose individual or business support. Tell us the year, entity type if relevant, and any urgent deadline or IRS notice.
- Confirm the scope and quote. We identify the returns, schedules and extra work included and confirm the fee before payment and preparation.
- Provide records securely. Follow your checklist and answer questions about missing or inconsistent entries.
- Review the draft. Check your personal/company details and figures, discuss outstanding questions and provide required filing authorisations.
- Receive the agreed filing record. Keep final copies and the submission evidence available for the filing route used. IRS acceptance or further review is outside our control.
Clear starting fees and a written scope
| Service | Starting fee |
|---|---|
| Individual Taxation | From $250 USD |
| Business Taxation | From $350 USD |
The final price depends on the return type, schedules, number of tax years, ownership structure, transaction complexity and condition of the records. State/local returns, multiple entities, amendments, delinquent filings, notice responses, international reporting, bookkeeping clean-up and payroll/sales-tax work may carry separate fees. Their inclusion must be confirmed in writing.
These fees cover professional preparation support. Taxes, interest and penalties payable to an authority are separate. Additional applicants, entities or years are not automatically included. There is no automatic annual subscription. The optional Business Dominance website package remains a separate service.
Deadlines, payments and extensions
Confirm the relevant federal and state deadlines for your return, entity and tax year. Tell us early if records are incomplete or a deadline has passed. An extension of time to file generally does not extend the time to pay tax. Payment obligations, estimated payments and any extension request need their own review; do not wait for a completed return to ask about an approaching deadline.
Common questions
Is the starting fee my final price?
No. We confirm a written quote after reviewing the records and scope. You can review the included returns and any additional charges before authorising the engagement.
Can you help if I live outside the United States?
Yes, enquiries from overseas individuals and business owners are welcome. Residency, income source and entity classification must be assessed before the appropriate filings can be confirmed.
Does an inactive company still need to file?
It may. Ownership, tax classification, elections and transactions can create reporting requirements despite low or zero sales. We review the facts rather than promising a blanket exemption.
Is Form 5472 support still available?
Yes. Choose Business Taxation and mention Form 5472/pro forma 1120 in the request. The related-party records and any additional filing obligations will be reviewed before quoting.
Are refunds, tax savings or IRS acceptance guaranteed?
No. Outcomes depend on the law, your facts and the authority’s review. Preparation does not guarantee a refund, a particular saving or acceptance.
