Starting a Nebraska LLC

Nebraska LLC is a legal organization that protects your assets (home, car, bank account) if your business is sued.

An LLC can be used to run a business or hold assets like real estate, cars, boats, or planes.

Forming an LLC in Nebraska is easy. Search the state database for your Nebraska LLC’s name and choose your Nebraska Registered Agent.

Send your Nebraska Certificate of Organisation to the Secretary of State in Nebraska and wait for your LLC to be approved.

Every two years, you must file a  LLC Biennial Report so that your LLC stays legal. The fee is $13, and it must be paid between January 2 and April 1 of every odd-numbered year. You also have to file your  LLC taxes with the state and the IRS every year.
